In 1978 Dr Turnbull commenced practise in Baxter and over time expanded to provide services in Somerville, the practise became The Baxter&Somerville Medical Centre. The needs of Somerville residents grew to the point that it became necessary to focus primarily on Somerville.

At 1176 Frankston Flinders rd,  Dr. Turnbull continues to carry on General Practise services in a familiar, friendly, "country GP" style that we all admire and are so thankful for in times of need. A family friend, your family doctor.
